Admissions FAQs

Admissions FAQs

How long before I hear back regarding my application?

For families enrolling for the upcoming academic year, we follow ISAAGNY dates and send enrollment decisions at the end of February. We are often able to notify families enrolling outside of the traditional academic calendar, such as for the current academic year, more immediately.

How long do I have before I have to make a decision to accept enrollment or not?

Once you receive your enrollment offer, you have seven days to reply, verifying your receipt and completion of the enrollment agreement.

How can I schedule a tour of Paché Montessori?

You can visit our in-person tour page to schedule a tour

How much does it cost for our child to attend Paché?

You can visit our tuition page to learn more.

Do you offer Financial Aid?

Yes, we offer financial aid to qualifying families. Contact us if you would like to know more about our financial aid or visit our financial aid page.

What should I do if I can’t make a tour?

Please email our admissions team at admissions@pachemontessori.com and we will help you to reschedule your appointment.

How do you place students from your waitlist?

We give priority to students based on when they have submitted their application, but also seek to create balanced, diverse classrooms in terms of age, gender, family dynamic, and socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic diversity. Families with siblings previously or currently enrolled get first priority.

If my child was offered enrollment, can I schedule an observation before I make my decision?

To protect our students and respect their environment, we do not offer outside observations. However, when you attend a tour, we do spend ample time observing classrooms together and we are happy to answer as many questions that you may have about our programs and school.

Can I enroll my child mid-year?

Yes, we accept enrollments throughout the year, space permitting, in all of our programs. Due to the unique nature of our early childhood education, we often have spaces available as children move up through our programs.

Do you require a playdate or assessment of potential students to determine enrollment?

We believe that Montessori education is for every child and strive to deliver an authentic experience to as many students as possible. For this reason and others, we do not require assessments of children ages four or younger. However, we do encourage you to proactively let us know of any concerns you may have for your child, or any special needs you are aware of, so we can discuss placement and support options. Older primary children entering late in the 2nd year or directly into the kindergarten year of our primary program (preschool/kindergarten, ages 3–6) are required to come in for a brief assessment, which often consists of some one-on-one time with a teacher, as well as participation in some individual and group classroom activities, usually over the course of 1–3 hours.

Parents can opt to enroll for an academic year (September to early June) or to enroll full year, which includes the summer program.

Do you provide lunch or snacks?

Paché Montessori provides a healthy snack for toddler and primary students, generally consisting of fresh fruit or vegetable and a carbohydrate (cracker, pretzel, etc.).

We strive to provide organic and in-season products as much as possible. Children bring their own, healthy and nutritious lunch to school and infant families provide all food throughout the school day.
