Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Our community of educators, administrators, families and partners is committed to inclusive education, actions and consciousness. There is no better teacher for our children than our own actions as we show up for justice, in solidarity with our brothers and sisters. Our process begins with the most difficult, yet most important, task of introspection and unlearning. As Montessorians — both parents and educators — we understand that our own spiritual preparation is a pillar of the child's experience. We do this so we can truly act with compassion, patience and peace. Without this critical component, we risk unconsciously acting in a way that causes harm. Our work unpacking our own personal biases and racism that exists in every human is a critical step in our spiritual preparation.

At Paché, we celebrate diversity and inclusion at all levels and respect and appreciate the differences among us, whether that be family composition, gender identity and expression, learning differences, race, culture, religion, sexuality, disability, socio-economic status, and other diverse backgrounds. We believe that every student has something special to offer, and we are committed to creating a learning environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We know that when students feel safe and supported, they are more likely to take risks, explore new ideas, and reach their full potential.
